Your Wedding planner

Virginie  - FOUNDER

After years in France, Mayotte and New Zealand, I live now in French Polynesia, on the sister island of Tahiti : Moorea. We choose this island several years ago with my husband for the authenticity and wild landscapes, it's a perfect mix between lagoon and mountains!

I have a Bachelor degree in Travel and Tourism and one in Wedding and Events but it's my first job, Photographer (http://www.svphotograph.com), who give me the real experience of wedding.

The idea for the company was conceived when Jenavi, one of my beautiful bride from Maui, Hawaii, changes the date of her wedding to have us as Photographer. She wanted a Polynesian wedding in the pure tradition and make the travel from Hawaii with her family for that but she didn't want to go on a resort. She found a house to rent near the ocean, a private home for all guests, they were around 10 with kids and her 2 boys. I felt terrible about the fact she changed the date she had in mind for us and her request as so meanful to me! So I proposed her to take that on me and organize a Polynesian ceremony at her place with a Polynesian dancing crew, Tahitian priest, flowers and vegetal ornement on the garden, also make up artist and caterer to have nothing to prepare!
The wedding planner and the wedding photographer are the two most important people on any wedding day, second to the bride and the groom. The wedding planner is tasked with planning and orchestrating a seamless, gorgeous event - and the photographer is responsible for capturing the beauty and emotions of the day. After seeing and be part of ten and ten wedding as Photographer, my husband and myself realize how compatible and obvious is the work of wedding planner or as I like to say wedding advisor.

Actually, the wedding need to be focus on the souvenir and the beauty so all will turn around the work of the Photographer and for that reason we know your schedule but also your fear, your wish...We know you well : we are here before the wedding to know how you are, where you want to get married, give you our advice to have best light, decor etc...we are here during your getting ready, here when bridesmaid are away and need someone to help you to get dress, we are here when you will cry during the vows, we are your shadow during this day and also here to capture emotions of your guests you can't see in that day because you are with your better half but you will discover that after, with photos....

After the wedding, I received a lot of my customers who asking for advice to have a intimate and authentic wedding here, I decide I have to create also a wedding planner company! Thanks Erika to pushing me to do that ;) My aim is to connect my bride and groom from overseas with local people and local artists like dancing crew, catering, make up artist etc... I know all my partners very well, for me it's important to know them, who they are like I like discuss a lot with my bride/groom!  My aim is also to propose a cozy, intimate, personal wedding on stunning places, near crystal water and flowers everywhere! A real Polynesian Wedding that doesn't look like a carbon copy of everyone else's wedding! More than a wedding I want my guests have an experience, a once-a-life experience by meeting a different culture, in a different country with people they love!
